Globalization and booming
business in the transport and logistics sector have been reflected in full at
transport logistic China 2008 in Shanghai with more visitors, more exhibitors
and a significantly higher level of Chinese participation than ever. The 3rd
International Trade Fair for Logistics, Telematics and Transportation took
place between 17 and 19 June 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo
Centre. It attracted 11,000 trade visitors from 66 countries and regions though
the event had been shortened from four to three days. This is a rise of 22
percent compared to the last transport logistic trade fair. “These figures
show that the event is now established as the most important business platform
in China and Asia for the logistics industry. It addressed all
the trend themes for the sector,” said Eugen Egetenmeir, Deputy Managing
Director of Messe München International (MMI).
